A man was out for a walk with his dogs at Ernesettle Creek earlier this week when he found a sex toy amongst the shrubbery.
The man – who wishes to remain anonymous – posted a photo of the sex toy on Facebook, outlining that the area is a well-known “dogging” area, and joked that those who left it behind must have been in a rush to leave.
This isn’t the first time something like this has happened in Plymouth. In 2018, a similar story emerged, when a vibrator was discovered on Ernesettle Green by passersby on their way to work one morning.
The ‘Rampant Rabbit’ style vibrator was reported to have been left out on the Green, with some eagle-eyed residents spotting it on their way to work.
PlymouthLive reported how the shocking discovery was said to be causing a bit of ‘buzz’ over on the Ernesettle News Facebook Group.
Similarly, the most recent phallic find saw people were quick to respond in the comments on the Ernesettle News Facebook Group.
The post said: Guessing the doggers were out last night and had to leave in a rush, didn’t want to touch it so kicked it into the bushes and it ended up like that, figured it would give a few of you a laugh while it is there.”
One comment on the post summed up how most dog walkers would probably respond to such a discovery. The comment said: “My dog can forget it if she thinks I’m throwing that “stick” for her when she brings it to me.”
Another comment spoke of how the area of Ernesettle Creek is a well-known spot for such activities, while another said: “Maybe they were strapped for time?”
