Open Farm Pet unveiled the 2020 MVP (Most Valuable Pets) Contest, which will provide three winners with a year of free Open Farm pet food.
The company is also offering winners to select an animal shelter of their choice to cumulatively donate 45,000 nutritious pet meals to pets in need.
Offering a variety of choices for all ages and life stages, Open Farm’s recipes for dogs and cats include dry food, freeze dried raw, gently cooked, rustic stews and blends, treats and supplements such as bone broth and kefir.
Using the lot code on their Open Farm bag, pet parents have the ability to trace the origin of each ingredient in their recipes. Open Farm recipes feature only humanely raised meats and functional ingredients such as non-GMO leafy greens, carrots, chicory root, turmeric and other superfoods with no artificial flavors, preservatives or fillers.
Between Dec. 1 – Dec. 14, pet parents can enter the 2020 MVP Sweepstakes for a chance to win by completing the digital entry form and following @openfarmpet on Instagram. Three winners will be randomly selected at the end of December and announced via Open Farm’s social channels.
In addition to the contest, Open Farm will be donating $25,000 between Daily Bread Food Banks of Canada and Feeding America in the U.S. this holiday season.
“We’re dedicated to providing the highest standards of quality and care for all pets and we’re excited to be giving back to pet parents this holiday season,” said Jacqueline Prehogan, co-founder of Open Farm. “In addition to rewarding our winners, we’re thrilled to support our mission to have a positive impact on the lives of animals and our communities.”
