City seeks feedback
on affordable housing
The city of Austin is seeking resident feedback on Rental Housing Development Assistance Program Guidelines.
Feedback can be submitted through Jan. 15. The feedback and subsequent review will help improve access to stable affordable housing, supporting residents, including those experiencing homelessness or reentering to the community, and impacting policies that help reduce the number of incarcerated persons in Travis County.
Recommended revisions for 2021 have been drafted and are available for public review and comment. Once approved, the new guidelines will be applied to applications after Jan. 1.
