‘We’re Keeping Her’ Says Ricky Gervais After Fostering Cat

By haziqbinarif

Ricky Gervais has a new family member! The actor and comedian recently adopted a cat after fostering her. Gervais and partner Jane Fallon lost their cat Ollie recently.

Gervais, a known animal lover, rescued the kitten from a bad situation and she was at first leery of people. Gervais posted about the cat on Instagram. The first post about the foster kitten said, “Fostering this little beauty until she goes to her forever home.”

Three days later, he posted, “Quick update on the cat we’re fostering: She keeps getting on my lap and staring at me. We’re keeping her.” She now goes by “Pickle.”

Gervais posted on Instagram with the news of her permanent home, saying, “The big world news: we are keeping our foster kitten. I knew it wouldn’t work. I knew if we fostered a cat we couldn’t give it away, couldn’t give it back.”

Gervais has since shared many pictures of Pickle on his Instagram page. Gervais isn’t the only celebrity to have recently adopted a rescue pet! Jennifer Aniston, Jon Hamm, Chris Evans, and Ariel Winter all recently showed off their rescue pups.
